Every custom solution begins with a question. That’s why the first step is getting all your needs & wishes out on the table. The next part, the how, is the job of Vetico’s Innovation Center – owned by Vetipak’s parent company.
From manufacturability test to SAT
In the Innovation Center, we test whether the solution we have in mind is actually feasible. When we’re given the go-ahead, we’ll start with the first draft design. Next, we’ll sit down to work out the financials. All clear? Then we’ll finalize the design, work out the business case and start building.
Once the line is in place, it’s time for the final tests: FAT (factory acceptance) and SAT (site acceptance). After those final steps, the custom solution is ready to start production.
Teamwork
The road to a customer-centric solution is not always easy, but it is always challenging and fun. Especially because of the teamwork involved: we design and decide together with the client, before launching the line together. That’s not to say that we don’t make use of the expertise of our strategic suppliers, by the way.
Backfolding
A backfold, also called an X-fold, is a form of high-quality packaging that provides extra protection.
Flow pack
Flow packs are filled horizontally with uniform or mixed products. We can use printed and unprinted films for this type of packaging.
Cartoning
Cartoning is a form of packaging using printed duplex cardboard. It can be filled horizontally and vertically and comes in various sizes. We are using our proprietary robot cell technology for more and more applications.
Premium Box
Premium boxes (or rigid boxes) are made from solid cardboard and then wrapped in luxurious refined paper. Looking for hotfoils, special lacquers or exclusive prints to truly stand out? Look no further, we do it all.
Sachets
A sachet is a convenient form of packaging for small products. They’re often used for high-quality portion packs.
Standing Pouch
Standing pouches are the premier packaging option for effective presentation of standing products.
Tins
Tins are a usually round type of packaging that are highly suitable for share packs. You could also consider jars, tubes or tubs.
Transwrap
Transwraps are used to dose, fill and package a wide range of different foods and often feature printed foil.
